Roguelite: 2077 is a 3D roguelite where you must fight waves of oncoming enemies such as drones and robots to protect yourself from the corrupted digital realm, with every 2 waves of oncoming hordes of enemies you beat, you are able to choose 1 out of 3 upgrades to improve your chances at surviving..

PS: This is my first time making a game using the godot game engine and first time using .gd script so expect the game not to be fully fledged out. 


//How To Play//

Use WASD for basic movements, SpaceBar to jump, Q for firing bullets. The aim of the game is to try to last as many waves as you can. The cooldown time between incoming waves is 5 seconds and currently there is only one enemy; the drone. There are also AOE areas where if you step on them you will take tick damage. 


//Game Jam Features//

The game currently features a core gameplay loop with damage and health bar as well as a main menu, and respawn feature along with infinite waves of enemies.

With each wave level you beat, a default "normal" enemy drone will be added to the total enemy amount and with every 2 waves an upgraded enemy count will be increased, making the game harder and harder but with every 2 waves you can choose to get an upgrade for either your speed, damage or health. (Very simple roguelite progression feature.)

Background Music and damage sound effects added to enemies.



*** I used some royalty free assets for some aspects of the game such as the player model and the drone models, everything else was made by me.
